
I'm still not sure if this mornings class trainer (yes that's right, I'm not going to name you even though you begged me too) was trying to make fun of us or not. He had us doing some really strange things at times! However, the outcome was still 6 sweaty people so I guess it worked :-)
Hmmm, weekends have never been a model time for my weight loss goals. Friday and Saturday night there was alcohol consumed, Saturday and Sunday nights there was Frozen Yoghurt consumed (YUM) as well as just generally lacking any routine or structure. Since joining the gym I have never considered Saturday and Sunday to be days for exercise - after a full on and sometimes stressful week at work, and in life generally, I always like to 'blob' out in the weekends - and as per usual this weekend was no different!
Monday morning though - so back into routine now. Had my slice of brown toast with Almond Butter before the gym this morning. Then my bowl of Special K Advantage and lite milk when I got to work. And so the week begins.....
p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Dave C - he even got a fantastic performance of 'Happy Birthday' from the rest of us when he got to the gym this morning. Happy Birthday Old Man :-)
