Those Damn Scales !

It's results we want, some folk are happy to wait for weeks to see changes.
Not I ! If I've put the effort in during the week it's nice to get that reward at the end.
The good thing about getting a BIA from the Mint team is you can see exactly where the changes have occurred during the week.
So even though the scales went up slightly this week, the actual fat loss is down slightly, and the muscle is up.
Apparently I'll reach a tipping point, and it will come right. Might be a month, might be slightly longer, but just gotta keep on keeping on.
The need for bread raised it's ugly head yesterday, it must the cold messing with me, or the carb monster. Didn't give in though.

Lacking sleep today, feeling a bit run down.
Head is saying go and do a workout, the rest of my body from the neck down is saying don't.

Got some recipes from Di yesterday for breakfast ideas, will give those a crack later in the week, one of them was pancakes !!

Office is full of lollies and cake today, wish I was 2 stone lighter, or 1 foot taller.

And that's Subway Cookie # 3 for the day...

Something rather typical of me has happened. Things have gone haywire at work and I'm flat out - what does this mean? Well, it means I lose all sense of routine - meaning I eat what I can, when I can - and usually badly. Prime example -was passing by a Subway earlier so figured I would stop while I had the chance - a few minutes later I left the shop happily sporting a very healthy salad.... and 3x cookies - all of which have now been consumed.

You would think that because I am aware of it - I could stop it! Well... you think that. The thing is, even as I was paying for the cookies I was thinking to myself that Di is NOT going to be happy when she reads my food diary, but I still brought them!

Cravings/habits win over Di's voice of reason! Sorry Di!

I still managed my workout this morning though - so not all is bad :-) I met fellow 'M1ntie' Rowena at the gym nice and early (I really do get better results when I work out with someone else, whether in a class or just two of us doing a programme) and we had a good workout. Rowena and I have similar goals and similar time frames for them so it has been absolutly great having her support as we work towards our bikini bodies together :-)

I guess now that I was honest on here about the cookies (I did consider not mentioning it...) I will have to be honest in my food diary also! ha ha
