Motivation lacking this week due to the cold.
Actually the motivation is there, the want to go outside in 4 degrees isn't.
Still managed to drag myself out of bed at 6am to get punished by Brian, Harry and Jacqui at the sweat intensive classes.
It's a great class, nice folk sweating together and motivating each other.
Couple of the girls are getting married soon, and are giving it their all. I did a similar thing last year before I got married, makes you feel better when you know you have put some effort in.
Programme from Brian, Box fit with Harry and nutrition advice from Di helped me drop a few kg's before Christmas, was well worth it.
My joke about it being a sweet intensive class seems to have fallen on deaf ears, was funny at the time.
Have found that spending some time stretching and time on the dreadmill on off days between classes makes the thought of getting up the following morning bearable.
Found myself at another lunch meeting in a restaurant, Geez it's hard settling for chicken salad when the pizza, pasta, beer, steak look so great on a cold day.
Di has been preaching the benefits of making my own bircher muesli, so this week wife and I have been giving that a crack.
Wife loves it, I think it's a bit like cold porridge. I'm warming to it. Ask Di for the recipe, easy to make.
This weeks distraction has been the severe lack of anything that has been near or resembles chocolate.
This weeks triumph has been limiting my intake of bread ( love bread!)
Back to the scales tomorrow morning to see how the week has been. Fingers crossed.
I'll let you know how I get on.
