
Just when I thought I was on a roll!!!
My eating last week was fine (I say fine as it was as good as it ever is, I'm no Di so there is always going to be Subway Cookies and Frozen Cokes in my weeks food diary) and my exercise was good. I made it to the gym Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (really worked hard Wednesday morning and felt it that night/next morning) & Friday morning.
And yet.... just when I had said that I was on a nice steady decrease... its stopped!!! But thats just not fair!!!!
Waist - increased 0.5cm
Total weight - increased 0.9kg
Fat Mass - increased 0.06kg
Muscle Mass - increased 0.01kg
Excess Water - increased 0.82kg
So to bring in Di's realistic, reassuring words we can look at these figures and say that they are possibly all OK - fat mass didn't increase (not worth mentioning anyway) and when you look at the figures it was just excess water that I was carrying that has pushed up my weight (and so you would expect my waist).
I'm still sulking though.
Then Di said something that really made me shake in my boots "we may have to start calorie counting and remove approx 200 calories per day".
Uh-uh, you did NOT just say that. That DOESN"T sound like fun :-(
I brought Di around to my way of thinking in that we will wait another week before we panic and start making rash decisions like calorie counting... man I hope this week is better!
I'm just hoping that the excess water was related to me pushing myself hard on Wednesday morning when I was boxing with Harry and Richie and that the excess water was a result of inflammation/soreness from the hard work out.
Please??Maybe??? I hope....
(as a backup option I did something I NEVER do - I can into the gym on Saturday and had a Personal Training (PT) session with Brian and did some boxing).
