Here we are faced with another Monday morning, although a better start this week with a good class with Brian at Sweat Intensive this morning.
I'm sure Brian will take a trip to the record store, or iTunes at some stage this year. Enough said.
Went to give the dreadmill a piece of my mind on Friday after work, only to find myself in front of the food fuehrer doing a BIA. The problem is I usually do these on a Saturday morning, with no food in my system, so here I was after a whole day of eating and drinking, only to find the scales were the same as last week !! (don't get caught up on the scales..so they say) fat mass was down slightly so I guess I need to take some heart from that. Went back to the gym the next morning, to find that the scales were 1 kilo less. (win)
Did a brief PT with Mike 'abs' McCauley, I breathe like a freight train, not because Mike is working me hard, It's because I've got no rhythm, we'll work on that, holding my breath while working out can't be overly good for me. Abs McCauley is going to work with me on that...and other things I'm sure.
Nice to have met many fellow gym nutters on Saturday night at M1nts 1st birthday dinner. A very nice evening out on such a dreadful night weather wise. It must have been weird to see people in their 'normal' clothes. It was no surprise however that Abs was wearing the food fuehrer's white t-shirt...might have to change his name to 'guns'. You know your in good hands at M1nt when even the most senior members get up to speak so highly of the M1nt team. Food fuehrer even told me that red wine was better than white...I'm holding her to that. Happy Birthday M1nties, and thanks for a great night.
I'm off tomorrow morning to have a glucose tolerance test to determine how quickly glucose is cleared from my blood. The test is usually used to test for diabetes and insulin resistance among other things...might have to lay off the Jet Planes for a while longer. I'll let you know how that goes, slightly nervous as my Dad is diabetic and I don't want to have to deal with that.
It's Monday, A positive week ahead.
